President Erdoğan has started his duty as the president by giving oath, which will last until 2028.

President Erdoğan, which came to the TBMM, was greeted with a ceremony. The temporary Head of the Parliament, Devlet Bahçeli greeted Erdoğan. Erdoğan, after climbing the Stairs of Honour with Devlet Bahçeli, was greeted with the former Head of the Parliament Mustafa Şentop and the Deputy President, Fuat Oktay.

After taking the mandate from Devlet Bahçeli, President Erdoğan officially started his duty after giving oath at the General Assembly of the Parliament.

Erdoğan’s ceremony of oath has been attended by the members of the parliament as well as his wife Emine Erdoğan, his daughters, son in law Selçuk Bayraktar and his grandchildren.
