They intend to establish a terrorist state in the north of Syria.

Speaker of the GNAT, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Şentop "They want to establish a terror state in northern Syria." They were late in that scenario, we impeded them."
Speaker of the GNAT, Mustafa Şentop said "They are promising chaos in Türkiye. There is no project either. You will remember what it was before, it was a strengthened parliamentary system. Now that they have given up on it, what is their position now? They were against the presidential system. Now they are proposing a presidential council system."
In his speech at the Rumeli Balkan Heartfelt Fellowship Meeting Program held at a hotel hosted by Bayrampaşa Municipality, Şentop said that Türkiye has entered a new path under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan since 2002.
Stating that steps were taken to ensure and strengthen stability in domestic politics in Türkiye, and then the values of the nation and the values of the state were brought together, Şentop noted that they turned Türkiye into the state of the nation.
Noting that Türkiye has become a prominent country in international crises or agreements in recent years, Şentop continued his speech as follows:
"In the past, this was not questioned, Türkiye did not have the power to question it. So I won't give names. This is a quote from the head of state of a big state: 'Before Tayyip Erdoğan, we used to meet with big states, several states, and take a decision. We did not even ask Türkiye about decisions concerning it. We used to take those decisions, thinking that Türkiye would abide by them anyway, and in fact it did. Now we feel obliged to consult Türkiye, Tayyip Erdoğan, even when we take decisions that do not directly concern Türkiye. The reason for reaching this point is, as I said, to trust the nation, to integrate the values of the nation with the values of the state, the nation and the state, and thus to open a period of action and to take steps to strengthen Türkiye in economy, politics, social life, technology, defense industry in all fields that come to mind with determination and delicacy."
Emphasizing the use of the defense industry developed by Türkiye in the fight against terrorism, Şentop said, "Here, we shoot and kill a terrorist, one of the so-called pioneers and leaders of the terrorist organization in the arms of the military and civil officials of the country that protects them, in the same car. This gives Türkiye a very important opportunity to pursue fully independent policies."
Speaker of the GNAT, Şentop said that Türkiye has become a center in economy, international relations, law and politics and they want to control this center.
"We say, 'This center is not controlled, our nation decides how this center will act, the ones elected by the nation decide'," Şentop said, adding that the May 14 elections are important.
Şentop, "They are promising chaos in Türkiye. There is no project either. You will remember what it was before, it was a strengthened parliamentary system. Now that they have given up on it, what is their position now? They were against the presidential system. Now they are proposing a presidential council system. There is a president and 7 vice-presidents, all with equal voting rights. Let's say, 'Terrorists have been detected somewhere, should we shoot them?' 'Oh, no, we will gather 8 people, all together, equal votes, we will take a decision.' Until you take a decision, they will leave the place and go, they will do what they will do."Stating that the main issue of these elections is about the encirclement of Türkiye, Şentop said:
"They intend to establish a terrorist state in the north of Syria. They were late in that scenario, we impeded them. Now they expect Türkiye to stop its operations in Syria and withdraw from there, and to stop cross-border operations. There should be no more cross-border operations, whether necessary or not. Indeed, we have taken the indication of this. Our soldiers are across the border, their tour of duty is over. We are already voting in Parliament. Politicians linked to that terrorist organization are not voting for it, but the party of the current presidential candidate did not support it either. So it's not a new resolution, let's emphasize this. Our soldiers are already there, and if the decision on this support had not been taken that day, our soldiers would have remained in that region unjustly according to international law. Despite this, there was no support. This is my opinion now. This is what is wanted, what is expected, for Türkiye to leave that region."
Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Mustafa Şentop noted that they want to create a terror state that will surround Türkiye.
Stating that there are covers prepared about the elections in Türkiye in the Western media, Şentop said, ‘This is the main theme of these elections. Otherwise, who is elected in Türkiye, what does The Economist care, what does it matter to the French, what does it matter to the Germans? What really concerns organizations in America? That's why it interests them. They have their own plans, Türkiye ruined that plan, Tayyip Erdoğan ruined that plan. People should come to Türkiye who will not interfere with this plan, who will not undermine the functioning of this plan. Türkiye should mind its own business. Those who say we will take care of things around here."
Mayor of Bayrampaşa Atila Aydıner, former President of the Constitutional Court of North Macedonia Salih Murat and some politicians, civil society representatives, academicians and citizens from Balkan countries also attended the program.
