The lavender field, Tekirdağ’s purple, enchanted hidden haven, is preparing to open its doors for visitors once more this year.
On Friday, June 23, 2023, the 3rd Lavender Field Days Festival will take place in Tekirdağ, opening its doors to visitors. Just like in the previous two years, the lavender garden will attract a large number of visitors.

Started on a 6-acre area in 2019 by Tekirdağ Municipality and Tekirdağ Governorship, the Lavender Field has now expanded to 35 acres and will welcome visitors this year as well. Located in Tekirdağ, known as Turkey's sunflower depot and granary, the Lavender Field project implemented by Tekirdağ Governorship and Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality aims to show farmers that there are possibilities for alternative agriculture. It provides an opportunity for citizens to escape from work stress even if temporarily.

Hosting colourful scenes, the Lavender Field of Tekirdağ Municipality will once again open its doors to visitors and photography enthusiasts with the 3rd Lavender Field Festival on Friday, June 23, 2023.
