In recent years, the importance of clean production, reducing carbon footprint, green transformation, and global environmental developments has been better followed and implemented by many institutions and organizations worldwide.

Trabzon Arsin Organised Industrial Zone, within the year 2022, has installed 12 solar power plants on the roofs of factories, generating 4.18 million kWh of electricity and meeting 8.1% of its annual consumption needs. It is expected that this percentage will reach 22.6% in the year 2023.

Since August 2021, a total of 8 solar power plants have been installed in Trabzon Arsin Organized Industrial Zone, generating 817,511.308 kWh of electricity. This amount corresponds to 1.52% of the annual energy needs of Trabzon Arsin Organized Industrial Zone. In the year 2022 alone, the solar power plants generated 4,184,579.873 kWh of electricity, contributing to 8.1% of the annual energy needs.

With an installed capacity reaching 10,573 kWe in 2023, it is expected that these power plants will meet approximately 22.6% of the region's energy needs.
